Local Business Woman Speaks at NJAWBO
Sussex County, NJ -- Deborah E. Bifulco, President and founder of Bifulco Business Solutions was the guest speaker at the recent dinner meeting of the Sussex-Warren chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. Bifulco spoke on the topic of “Extreme Communications.”
In her presentation, Deborah discussed some of the fundamentals of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) as they relate to communications. She talked about the different ways in which people process information and how the each person can adapt his/her style to communicate more effectively with others.
“Almost everyone can recall a time when they’ve had a conversation with someone and walked away feeling that the communication didn’t go well, that they didn’t connect with the other person. What I try to do is help people understand why this happens and give them tools they can use to prevent future “disconnects” in communication. NLP is a widely recognized and used communications technology that people can easily use in both their personal and professional lives,” says Bifulco. “I feel that everyone can benefit from improving their communication skills. Whether someone is trying to explain a new business concept or tell someone about a great restaurant, it is helpful to be able to communicate in a way that the listener/s can relate to and understand”
